This project started as an attempt to document my personal ancestors and heritage. My father had done some research on previous visits to Germany, and some of the information comes form there, but I still have a lot of links to find, and have not been able to find the full Ahnentafel document that Dad had prepared. I still have a bunch of albums of Mom and Dad's to sift through, so eventually I might be able to bring more pieces together.
In my quest to link a few missing bits together, (I'd always thought the family group was small, and Drommer to be a rare name) I was pleasantly surprised to find traces of the name in other parts of Germany, France, USA and Australia.
If all works out, I'll be able to sift though all the bits I have been able to uncover, and build a mosaic that represents the Drommer name over a wide time span and variety of locations. |
